Topics

Five pillars. Everything I write fits into one. If a topic doesn’t fit, I probably won’t write about it.

The Efficient Home

The boring, repeating logistics of running a household. Meal plans, grocery lists, the chores you keep putting off, the school forms, the appointment chains, the why-is-the-dishwasher-making-that-noise moments.

What you’ll find here: real prompts, real recurring workflows, and the small handful of tools that quietly run my house in the background.

Career and Wealth (Non-Clinical)

The parts of physician money and physician career that have nothing to do with clinical work. Real estate management, side ventures, financial systems, contract review prep, getting the receipts out of your inbox and into your accountant’s hands without crying.

I’m not a financial advisor. I’m not your accountant. I’ll talk about workflows and systems, not specific investment recommendations.

Parenting and Family

The part of your life that doesn’t care whether you were on call last night. School schedules, kids’ projects due tomorrow, birthday party logistics, the family group chat, holiday planning, summer camp signups, and the post-call dad / mom move.

This is the pillar that probably benefits most from AI being available at 9pm when you finally sit down.

Elevated Leisure

What off time is actually supposed to be for. Travel planning that takes twenty minutes instead of three weekends. Hobbies that aren’t another form of productivity. Restaurant lists, packing lists, itineraries that survive contact with a real schedule.

If you keep skipping vacations because planning one feels like a second job, this is the pillar.

AI Technical Insight

The under-the-hood layer. Agents, prompts, the difference between models, why some workflows work and some don’t. Written for physicians who do not have time to learn another tool, but who want to understand what’s happening when they use one.

This is where I’ll cover the new things worth knowing, and quietly skip the ones that aren’t.

What I don’t cover

Anything clinical. Patient care, charting, clinical decision support, AI scribes, ambient documentation tools, regulatory questions about clinical AI. There are excellent writers in that space. I’m not one of them, on purpose.

Strictly non-clinical. Nothing on this site is medical advice. I do not post about patient care.
